ChLA 2023: Thank You!

The International Committee’s focus panel on Islands in Children's and Young Adult Literature at the 49th Annual Children’s Literature Association Conference in Bellevue, Washington was a success. We would like to thank the ChLA board for their continuing support of our efforts to broaden the membership’s understanding of children’s literature around the globe.

We also thank all the conference participants who attended the panel as well as our esteemed panelists Letterio Todaro, Yoo Kyung Sung, and Gustavo Velázquez Lazcano. A huge thank you to International Committee member Maria Truglio for moderating and generating stimulating conversations.

We on the International Committee were pleased to host this discussion of Islands in Children's and Young Adult Literature and look forward to seeing you at the 2024 ChLA Conference.
